For me, I love Route 22 and all the areas around it that it covers. Roads are nice and clear outside of rush hour and the pax usually tend to be going places. If I need a pick me up there are plenty of options.

I like all of those long, narrow, tree covered roads with the one lane stream bridges in somerset/princeton/hillsborough. Though if you are prone to epilepsy...

The area I hate the most is atlantic city near the casinos. GPS doesn't work right on the elevated roadways and all the pax are drunk or high day and night.

My first most favorite place to drive is Deal NJ, especially on Friday nights and Saturday daytime. I also provide the 1st in the state Uber BikeRack for those Saturday jaunts. My second busiest ride area is Normandy Road between Belford NJ and Colts Neck NJ. The amount of people who are willing to download and use the Goober app is amazing. But the one I saved for last and the most profitable rides I ever do is the Goober Walk of Shame rides every Saturday and Sunday mornings around 5am or so. Best tips ever!

People get upset when they see REAL pay statements on here. Personally I think the dumbest thing anyone can every do is talk about their specific areas of driving unless they're obvious areas like the entire shore zone for the higher rates.

Op may say he's not asking to drive there because he had a whole 2000 rides under his belt (silly response since I have double that and still consider myself a notch above a noob still learning new things and places to drive daily since this gig is in a constant state of flux) no one ever really knows everything about anything....

I love the long windy roads of north Princeton/skillman and Rocky hill. Especially during this time of year, if you ever get a Easton or Allentown ride from Trenton, Ewing, or Princeton. Instead of taking 202/31 take 27 to Washington crossing, cross into Pa then take 611 (River Rd) all the way up to 76. You'll come out after the toll booth

It's quite an amazing road during fall

Maybe you're smoking heroin today, I picked up in Northern TF, on Sycamore. Where houses are like $700k. It was a young drunk girl who had obviously hooked up w/ someone the night before.

Those are some of my favorite spots too. I used to love Sea Isle City, but after our legalization it's not as fun.

So, for me, it depends what time and day as well as my mood, lol.
Disclaimer: I've been out of state for a while, but usually...
I like to start my day at 4am in populated suburbs about 30 to 35 miles from EWR. (Obviously to get an inbound run in.)
Then if I'll usually work the incentives in Essex or Hudson County. (Usually Essex.) Personally, I prefer west of the GSP, but still in the zone. (Less Newark Penn trips.)
I don't mind Hoboken, unless it's saturated with drivers. If too crowded, I'll try Greenville or Bergen/Lafayette. (RIP Bayonne boost. )
If I'm in a laidback cruiser mood, Chatham, Madison, Florham Park, the Hanovers, Parsippany.
Sometimes I like Bergen County, but sometimes it's too much rude, short hopping nonsense.
Gone are the days of cruising into EWR with the DF on, I guess. I haven't been in the queue, but I can see here it's not all that fun.

Anyone who has ever been fishing (on a boat not on a parking lot or dock) knows that trolling requires a slow crawl to find the schools. In the Goober universe, sitting still is useless, as you never know where a school of fish might be waiting. But, this will fall on 90% of hearing-deprived ears because that percentage has never been to any kind of school, let alone fishing.
