I'm like wtf, apparently I am getting a $500 bonus on April 27th. Guess I have to be good till then. Funny thing is, i still hate them. You can't take $20 or 30 from me each week and think is going to be ok if you give me $500 one time.

My bonus comes out to 2.63 cents per ride.

Should I burn the bonus or invest in the IPO?

I don't know if that means you've done a ton of rides or are getting a small bonus. I'm at 7700 rides so it's about 6.5 cents per ride. I'm going to go out and party like there's no tomorrow!

$500 for 5600 rides. I read an article that said the bonus would be in Uber shares. But the e-mail didn’t say that. Maybe, whenever they go public, we’ll be able to buy that amount in shares at the IPO price?

I wouldn't buy into that circus. I'll take my $500 and run, this whole thing is going to come crashing to a halt for me now that Lyft is apparently going to get rid of prime time and move to flat surge as well. I'm not moving people for base or small pieces of change thrown my way.

I'm cashing out the moment that arrives. Uber's stock is very risky. As for Lyft, that's exactly why I haven't gotten excited at all about the money available. It's just a replay of what happened with Uber, but way, way worse. Just don't want to go through it again, I know it's a deal with the devil. Even though Lyft is great right now, they are NOT the good guys. Not supporting a company that wants to push the flat surge to a whole other level.

You would have to take that up with Uber or Greenhub. Most LIKELY no, BUT I don't speak for Uber. It states that you should have driven since May, but what do I know.
