I picked a young woman one Sunday morning... 8am ish. As I'm getting close I get a text, "please don't pull in the driveway or get out of the car. "

I'm like okay... I get there, and she comes slinking out, shutting the door as delicately as possible, carrying her shoes, hair a mess and what looked like last night's clothes..

An obvious walk of shame...

she gets in, I say hi, how is it going ... the usual. Nothing...

It was a 20 minute ride or so, about half way through groaned an ugggghh. I could smell the alcohol fairly strong.

I said goid night or rough night?

She said... "I'm such a ****!, I have to quit drinking so much."

Then nothing else until we got to her drop, she said thanks.

Sometimes it amazes me how honest people will be with the UberDriver. Women especially. I've also noticed women tend to be more honest with each other in conversation than men are but that might be more the nature of what friends take UberRides together. My favorite pax are two women riding together going out and talking ship. It never doesn't entertain me.

You read it and thats all I need in the world...
I give my neighbors hope. Without me they tell me it was just a vast wilderness if confusion and despair.

People need to talk to let the stress out. That's natural. They need to talk to someone that:

A) Is non judgemental.

B) is on their side

C) Has no power over them nor will ever see them again

I know it sounds cheesy, but you have go to read the books by the author of Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus. When two woman are alone they reveal their real intentions which are almost totally opposite than what they say. This is why I almost gave up on the opposite sex. LOL.

As I was approaching his gate at LAX.
I just need an older man that can teach me things, you know?
