A Tucson man has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting an Uber driver, authorities say.

Chris Thomas Gomez, 31, was booked into the Pima County jail Wednesday on one count of sexual assault, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.

About 5 a.m. Saturday morning the Uber driver told deputies she had been assaulted by a man she picked up in the 2700 block of West Avenida Azhar, near West Ironwood Hill Drive and North Greasewood Road. She said the assault occurred when they arrived at the man's destination in the 7000 block of East Sunrise Drive.

Gomez was arrested after investigators questioned him on Wednesday.

And the sick thing is they don't even need a positive test. If a cop with the right training judges you under the influence you'll get a MANDATORY 90 days.

This A-hole serves 6 months for intentionally putting an unwilling participant under the influence of one of the most dangerous controlled substances, especially seeing as he has no idea how much she's drunk, rapes her and gets 6 months. Keep in mind he had to have this spiked bottle with him for however long until he picked someone up worthy of raping. This is a disgusting story and I hope this woman walks away with the bank in her pocket. Safe rides fee my ass.

Dam. Driver pounded a drunkie! Thanks to these stories I will never take the bait, that and I'm not a bottom feeder to begin with. The fact that they made it back to her apartment tells me that there must of been some sort of consent, although she was drunk, at the time she was not resisting the drivers advances.
