Thanks for the breath of fresh air, and not wasting our time. After all expenses a full time uber driver will make $12-14 per hr while a split shift full timer will make a bit more at $16-20 per hr. The part timer can range from $10-$30 per hr.
And...that's after expenses BUT before taxes, correct? After all expenses a full time uber driver will make $12-14 per hr while a split shift full timer will make a bit more at $16-20 per hr. The part timer can range from $10-$30 per hr.
You make $700-$1000 weekly after gas, depreciation, insurance, maintenance and repairs? And a newbie may not know we have to pay double social security taxes, right?i have my own car, i usually make $700 to $1,000. averages out to be $20 an hour, depending on demand.30 - 50 hours a week. i use both apps
the billboards and radio adds are bullsheet about our earnings
See, everyone tosses around figures, but nobody is consistent by providing details: do you lease, rent or own; gas deducted?, tolls deducted?, insurance (assuming you didn't have a car but now do for Uber) or extra TNC gap coverage available in some markets; repairs, maintenance, 20% vs. 25% commission, etc. Does a driver own the car and just use the IRS mileage deduction?
I realize not every poster wishes to get into all of the details just listed, but if not, the figures are kind of irrelevant.
