Hello there, first i would like to thank all the Uber drivers for their service and I want to let you guys know that your service is highly appreciated. I am in the middle of conducting a research paper about uber and it's busines model. If you guys could help me with one of my questions I would highly appreciate it. My question is for for both full time drivers and part time drivers. how much do you guys make on a weekly basis, and how many drives do you do each day? I thank you in advance,
Sincerely, Josh AKA "doberman617"

The hourly average in Boston before gas and other expenses is $14-30/hr depending on the driver, where they drive, the times they drive, and incentives.

Drivers drive on average 10-50 hours a week. Some do a consistent amount of hours almost daily some bunch it all into 3 or 4 days.

On Uber you average 2-4 trips in an hour for most hours of day unless really slow.
is this for real ?
yes, I figured the best way to get answers would be to ask the drivers themselves instead of going by what uber says
the truth about uber is that they count on people like me and many other drivers . immigrants that have no other option or people that can not work other jobs due to health issues . it is uber or nothing ... that is why fuber still going

Just go out and drive. Its survival. You get payed what ypu get payed even if it dont make sense. Dont ask how pay works cuz you will have a thread of 20 pages of people going in every wich direction confuseing the hell out of you. Just know the rate of where your at and 25% gets tooken out from each ride

I make 100k a year, do about 5 to 10 drives a day, and learned very quickly not to trust fellow uber drivers on this forum as spreading misinformation is advantageous to their cause.

You made 100k!? Net or gross?
Net. I usually throw my car away after every 100 trips and buy a new one. That way I don't have to deal with cleaning and vacuuming the interior.

Were you on a lease program?
LOL Trolls. The point is the income is highly variable so the information is not gonna be very good or reliable. Some people can make 10/hr net with a brand new 2016 honda pilot and working bad hours at bad locations doing pool. Other people like me who have a fully depricated hybrid car and working good hours at good spots can net 25/hr.

Your actually right. You can do that in boston last year i maybe 75k. I was doing that with 40 hours aweek avarageing $35 an hour. I was useing ford fusion that i only pay 4k for so i rode the shit out of that thing.

You can also add in referrals ontop of that too. When i was looking at that i was just talking to someone in truckers forum how he was makeing 100k working with a well known crap company that only hands out $.30 a mile

I make 100k and I drive no more than 20 hours a week. Get on my level!
After all expenses a full time uber driver will make $12-14 per hr while a split shift full timer will make a bit more at $16-20 per hr. The part timer can range from $10-$30 per hr.

Easily. Most of my fares are around $100 and I usually complete the trip in 20 minutes.
