What if we could all come together and form a protest of these strip clubs... 100 200 500 1000 rideshare vehicles all converge on Rino on a Friday night do the circle around it clog traffic up to hell no vehicles in or out for 2 hours.... what if we converge on the strip app off 1000 vehicles together in formation going down the strip clogging the strip up for 2 hours... our voice will be heard and news coverage will be unbelievable... just food for thought........we need to organize and throw our collective weight around because we are growing and only getting bigger but we are getting screwed more what's a few hours a week to make news.....just one of my many ideas of protest to get our fair shake.... we could flash mob the strip and anywhere we want......

We could screw the airport up real bad......

The best protest we can do is to not pick up or drop off at these places, that is where our collective power lies.

Then let's get together and brain storm. I can start some research and make phone calls to some of the SF and NY drivers I've met via here and FB . Maybe they can give us a starting point? Do you think you can get at least a few drivers that would take this serious that would help?

Take whatever they give you because they don't give a F about rideshare. Nothing anyone can do about it. Everyone hates rideshare but they love to ride it though because it's so cheap. All doorman and valet hate rideshare but they love to ride it to work. Its hypocritical

In my opinion ,its both Uber and the passengers (town) taking advantage of Uber.

When Uber first came out, they lied to the passengers and told them the tip was included in the fare. Passengers forgiven.

Uber then confusses the passangerd with double talk about tips. Passanges forgiven.

Twitter, face book , memes, local news, national news , word of mouth , tip signs in uber vegicles all saying the fare does not include a tip, passanger now makes the concious decision to not tip. Passanger not foegiven.

PLUS the passengers who live in this town that use Uber daily who rely on tips, should know better!

From now on I'm not going to tip my waitress , valet, casino dealers etc. As I'm walking away, I'm going to turn around and with sparkles in my eyes and a grin to match the Cheshire Cat, I'm gonna say " you are the best! I'm going to give you 5 stars!" Then walk away.

What would you do if uber dissapeared?
I can speak for myself, though you didn't ask me. I'd sit at home bored every evening again. And when we go to the airport, we'd ask a friend for a ride rather than pay a cab (if it actually shows up).

Maybe it would be better for tourists' health if they didn't have ridshare and had a choice between a $12 cab ride to go that one mile or get out and walk it. Locals would lose a significant amount of time using our stellar bus system instead of getting door to door service.

I have a son that was considering attending the University of Nebraska to play lacrosse.

....Now I'm going to have to sit him down, and explain my reservations.

THIS incenses me. I've worked for tips as a dealer and a banquet server (auto grats for banq server, but I always got a few side tips every banquet). I was raised to be a generous tipper. However, I ferry cocktail servers, bartenders, food servers who tip nothing. This is changing my overall view toward tipping in general. I would be mortified to stiff someone unless I got terrible service, and I still tip, but I'm much more considerate about how much I tip, knowing that I could pick up that server after their shift and get "thanks" on the way out of my car.

If she's typing on her phone, I totally get it.

Bad idea. How's that going to help us earn more money? Your idea will make riders and the hotels door men hate us more.if you ask me the best protest will can do is if all drivers get to gather and turn of the app for 3 hours a day for every shift.

I already refuse to pick up or drop off at Plaza, and I hope everyone who has experienced their hospitality is doing the same.

Don't get too upset, club kicks fluctuate. Find the club that kicks the most and do everything you can to bring your passengers there. Right now I think it is Centerfolds...
