Received this email from Uber. They are really trying to put the breaks on Juno ad display :

Hi Xxxxx,

We recently emailed you letting you know that displaying advertisements for other apps to Uber riders is against Uber's Terms of Service. Not only is this against Uber's Terms of Service but it is also prohibited by the TLC, Rule 80-15G. We wanted to make sure you knew so that you didn't incur action from the TLC.

We value the time and commitment you put in to get your TLC license, and would never want you to do something that risks violating TLC regulations.

LOL Uber couldn't be any more incorrect.

You are permitted to advertise CAR SERVICES AND CAR SERVICE APPS, but only that. You can't run another business in the vehicle and advertise services non related to car service. Some car services give you business cards with ride discounts. Prestige and Mega in the Bronx do this often.

You should reply back and tell them to learn the TLC rules before scaring you.

This only adds up more dirt to the great collection of Uber contradictions.
According to Uber, Uber is a "software company". If this really was a violation of TLC rules, then wouldnt it be up to the TNC to punish the drivers with a fine?
I didn't know that Uber now has a batch that says "NY State Police".
If Uber is not a transportation company then what business do they have with this?
Uber is contradicting itself again about the drivers being independent contractors.

I got deactivated last week after I got a call from uber prohibiting me from promoting Juno, I told them that I'm not a Uber employee and that as independent contractor I put whatever I want in my car. after that call I got deactivated.
F.....k Uber. just hope Juno a Lyft can keep me busy
