This morning, as is typical, I had a 4:00 am reservation to bring someone from a place not far from where I live over to the airport, followed by a 5:10 reservation to pick someone up about four miles from the airport/7 minutes away. I dropped off my first PAX at about 4:36 expecting to immediately be routed to my next guy, but that never happened. I go to look to see if I was still lined up for the 5:10 reservation, and sure enough, I saw that it had just randomly disappeared.

The customer did not cancel, as if they did, it would show up in my Earning screenshot below. And you can also see I was still getting push notifications about said trip this morning before it erased into oblivion.

With that in mind, I encourage you to take screenshots of all your reservations, and if this happens to you, call Uber support so that you can be reimbursed. I have had this happen to me three times in the past probably four months, and they have paid me every time after having me fill out a form detailing the issue.

Thankfully, the Uber Gods still took care of me by getting me a ping that resulted in me getting paid nearly the same $23 that I was hoping to make on the lost reservation (albeit for a longer time and mileage commitment and also mostly because of the tip the guy gave me + surge), but I am still going to be calling in to try to get paid on my reservation that was lost through no fault of my own. The part that sucks though is that I usually get big tips on these early AM reservations too, but they only reimburse for the lost fare.

Not me, I called as soon as it happened because I was livid. There was a series of Comfort reservations I had lined up perfectly logistically, and missing that one created a chain reaction situation that lost me a nice chunk of money.
I understand and I get one or two a day if any and just for me and not for you let it go because all they will do is give me six dollars and I am just not in the mood arguing with them any longer.

Truthfully I try to avoid reservations unless it is College Station.

I love ‘em under certain circumstances if they line up right. Usually I get one leaving my area to go to the airport early in the AM followed by several back to back ones or short trip ones near the airport or beach areas. Virtually every single day starts that way for me. People also tip very well on reservations too, especially the Comfort riders.

The short ones where you make like $30+ for like a seven minute trip are the best though and are virtually always worth it. There have been days where I will get 4+ like that, all in the same vicinity near the airport, completely sending that day’s gross profits to the next level.
