Lol @ people who still drive for Uber/lyft/ola etc

Unless the fuel prices go down to $1 per L it's not worth doing.

I'm pushing trolleys for Coles and earning $27.22 per hour. Still better than Ubering
Yep same money in Bris. Same job , talked to a bloke the other day ,he is 60 yrs semi retired , just does it casual , they ring him , when someone dosent turn up, or when they know they will need him for a few hours, " nice little earner "as Arthur Daly would say , only pushes about 10 at a time , or helps another with more , like a guard , making sure they don' t run over shopper:)s, work safe regs., but I'm an old bugger , they would need someone to push me :(, to keep the bloody things rolling!!!!!!

You will probably push it all your life because you think that if fuel will cost $1 it will have big impact on the hourly rate lol

Do you know how much is the fuel cost for every $1 you earn with uber ?

It does when you add up all the costs. Also depends what type of vehicle you use. I took an Uber ride from my aunt's place back home couple weeks back, the guy was driving a Commodore. Complains about the fuel prices and that he's making no money . Well no sh*t, you're driving a V6 and expecting to make money LOL. It's basically just driving around to pay money for fuel + car maintenance and to add on wear and tear depreciation etc

Uber is only profitable if you're driving a hybrid or a 4cyl car that goes 6L/100km . I don't see the point doing it on anything that's non-hybrid or anything over 7L /100km. I'm doing a day job + working nights in a restaurant , easily $1400 a week with no major expenses, maybe $20 a week to drive from work to home > back to work fuel expenses.

While Uber-ing i was making 800 a week and while putting 500km a week on my car, $200-300 on fuel = Making no money.

QUIT UBER AND GET REAL JOBS GUYS COME ON
