What areas do you work?
And I agree, very slow. Man oh man do I miss 2015...the days where you'd hit 200 in a matter of a few hours. Anyone making 1k a week these days on UberX in the DMV area??

Thanks. I have about two months before school starts back up in the fall so I thought I’d give this ridesharing thing a try again but it’s changed so much these days.... the market is flooded with drivers and the rates are horrible. The tips are great though.
I did 2k trips in less than 6 months when I first started. That volume seems impossible to achieve these days.

After the summer of 2016, all I ever have been doing is working nights unless it's a drinking holiday (St. Patty's, Cinco De Mayo, etc.).
How many hours do you work to hit 1k?

This was me last week. Probably an extra $30-40 in cash tips. I work midday into the night.

Damn, last week? That's pretty good on Uber alone. What areas are you working generally? Both of my vehicles are 6 speed so I get tired after driving more than a few hours a night. Had the rates been what they used to be, I'd be out there 40-50 hours a week easily. I used to clear almost 6k a month (before taxes) without breaking a sweat!

Anne Arundel county is where I try to focus on. Don't do Baltimore unless absolutely necessary. That was LYFT alone.. still waiting on my Uber account to move over 3 weeks later...

My Uber has been on for about a week now. Just off Lyft alone though I'd clear about $22-28/hr average as long as I stayed in the Baltimore market and out of Baltimore proper

I drive weekends in Harford County. Got a quest-15 rides for extra$35. Drove all day yesterday and only got 9 rides mostly $3.50-$4.00. Thought I could easily get 6 today. But got 3 pings in 4 hours 29 minutes. It’s like Uber doesn’t actually want you to make the quests. Plus there are usually 8 other drivers in whatever area I drive to. I made $12 today.
