What do you guys think about Vernon New Jersey? It has a population of over 20,000 people and the median income is over $80,000. I can't see why it would be a dead place during the morning Rush

Its not densely populated...everyone has a driveway with 3 cars...

Tenafly, Ridgewood, the saddle rivers, and woodcliff lake are rich areas too and they use uber to the airport. They aren't densely populated areas either.

Those areas are much more populated than Vernon. There is no reason to Uber from up there. They have a bus to the city or everyone works local and drives. I agree with jerseyboys I would not go anywhere west of Oakland, although Ringwood has gathered a lot of riders recently, not sure why. If you go to Vernon plan on at least 15 minutes to pickups. You could be the only car up there. Much like the rest of Sussex county, there may be the occasional ride here and there, but I think you will be more disappointed. Try it and let us know.

Now why did you spoil the fun Kevin would have realized and gone to Uber solely up there. Also Lyft isn't in many parts of Sussex county. I don't know why they don't cover the entire state. Uber definitely does.

Also, Kevin, if you pick up in Vernon or up that way and wind up in New York, such as Rockland and Orange counties, you will have to come back to NJ anyway. Another perk for driving up there.
