VEGAS ??? GOOD EFFIN LUCK !!! After tiptoeing through strict Nevada state laws & advertising for drivers, the upper echelon of Uber tossed in the cards & officially opened for bizz in the largest city in the US not to have their vehicles in service. Problem is..... Shut down within one hour by Nv state lawmakers !!! The extremely deeeeep pockets that have pipelined cashola for decades to state of Nv lawmakers have created a hand crafted no tolerance law of ANYONE coming in & transporting people for $$$,, Simply put if Uber really wants a fight against a small experienced crew that transports 40 plus million people a year with literally endless amounts of $$$$ then they have awakened the right people. Within one hour they hooked up 4 vehicles & arrested 4 drivers. That's the way the law reads if your not properly certified to operate & that's the way it's going to stay. With 5 decades of tens of dozens of other people from rickshaws to shuttles to limousines nobody has ever come close & it's not going to change,, PERIOD !!! Old west lives in Nevada laws & this is 100% proof & what STARTED IN VEGAS STAYS IN VEGAS.... The reason Uber waited so long to launch in LV is because old west cowboys hold the bullets for the guns & always will,,, GOOD EFFFINNN LUCK !!
Once again good afternoon back in my Uber. I hope you had a pleasant day. 12 more hours here we come. Did you get to see the Uber jet today at the executive terminal ? 50 million dollars was the purchase price. Perhaps when Uber wins in Las Vegas they will buy another one with your money. Uber on !!! :)

Farman,

Get in there and ride it for all it's worth. UBER "happy times" only last a while. Then then screw it up with too many cars.

If it were me (and I'm kinda glad it's not) I would pop on and off and constantly change location. Like Wack-a-Mole. Switch off the app every 5 minutes, then move and log in again. That way the police and thugs have a hard time tracking your car.

I would get some mace spray or a night stick to keep in the car. It could get rough. Good luck and good hunting.

I wonder if I can go get arrested in LV? Travis is going to pay the fees and my sitting amounts as well right?

Yea except that this Farman character is a taxi lobby activist, he doesnt drive uber
Good morning, my old friend still in my Uber. I think my Uber viewpoint is correct. The greatest thing about Uber is I have a very clean new car to drive and I can work noon to midnight, very business hours in Las Vegas. I have only work 5 days so far. My first 60 hours working the elite Uber customer have been prompt, polite and a couple have even spoken to me. No ticket yet but the odds are against me with the small hours behind the wheel so far.

Thanks for the tips. The rest I leave up to God.

LA rates suck. You are misinformed.
I know they are almost the lowest 90 cents a mile I think last time I looked. Uber elite customers want the price structure you work at. Everyone tells me same price for the whole usa would be delightful. Please note 50 percent of the customers don't talk at all to me. Small sample group 101 trips so far.

Free rides are magical, or the rates are just fine...which is it?

Good job!
The app is behind with customers ratings. People from all over the world seem very happy not to use the cab any more. Many taxicab drivers do a very poor job in las vegas. People from LA and San Francisco are the hardest to please. I do all the things uber says water, candy, do not speak unless spoken to, open the door etc.
