Well 2 issues actually. I remember when getting a portland business license, they said if I make under 15k, I don't have to pay a fee. Well, looks like at this rate, I might. But, then because I live in Vancouver, I also have a Vancouver business, and they also said the same thing. So, at the end of the year do I categorize my trips? If they started in Oregon or Wa? That's a lot of work.

So, with that said. Do I file taxes in both states? I guess it's worth it? And I in bought a car for UberLyfting can I deduct from both states?

On March 16th 2017 the determination of exemption for the City of Vancouver process changed. Used to be just fill out the checklist, submit to the city and keep a copy.

Now you have to apply for the exemption through the state site. I believe that once you expect to make over $12000 within Vancouver City limit you would have to pay the $125 business license fee. I don't know about any specific taxes other than that for Vancouver.
