Hello guys, I will move Tasmania next week. I used fake gps to see If I can use my account in Tasmania. In a minute Uber gave a warning. Now took a notification that says "Our system have identified discrepancies in your location data on recent trips.Fradulent activity is in breach of Uber's Community Guidelines and the Services Agreement and may result in access to your account being restricted". So through this information will my account get disabled?

Yes you WILL be deactivated if you use Fake GPS again,

Just don't risk it again mate.
Stopped it afterwards. I tried to get online 3 or 4 times. It didn't let me in then I removed the fake gps app. Just afraid will I get disabled or the will forgive for first time. I didn't mean to cheat the app. Just wanted to see if it works in Tasmania

Drivers getting deactivated for even having those kind of apps on their phone with uber app scanning it.
Don't cheat it plain and simple and you won't get deactivated like thousands have already.

With breaking the law or even rules you always got to weigh up the risk/benefits. Be always hundred percent ready to face the consequences in the worst case scenario before proceeding because quite often it will be the worst case scenario.

With Uber trying to look "profitable" this year they are cleaning house of all the scammers that costing them $$$.
They'll reactivate them all after the stock release though

an app that changed ur true location to a different location on the phone then where you are. Hence cheating the system in which a lot of drivers use to do to get surge jobs once upon a time.

They be in the area but won't exactly be there like 5 minutes out but position their gps location right in the heart & center of it so they get a nice juicy fare cheating out the other fellow drivers in the area legit. Uber let it go on for years. Not sportsman like at all. Since they were taking the cream off the top on every surge area.

Everyone else out there playing by the rules with one hand & one leg tied :roflmao: it was not a level playing field!

Seriously?

Well firstly you could put yourself in the Airport queue without being anywhere near the Airport!
Got it, I'm just to honest for my own good ?
yep defo dishonesty... so that's why when I approach the nest at the AP, even though the app says queue is full yet heaps of spaces to park ur car

The big one was on a trip where drivers will change gps location on it to stretch the fare and back to current gps. Vastly inflating the prices & one of the main reasons Uber introduced fixed fare along with a lot of new shiny codes to detect those illegal apps. To stop driver "tipping themselves" on more KM on each trip.
