Uber policy on tolls is totally unfair. I live and work in one city. Our city has a bridge toll coming in but not going out
A lot of my fares are leaving my city so I always have to eat the 2.00 toll to get back.

Ask for a fare adjustment. According to Uber, they do charge tolls when the driver has to take a toll to come back to their place of origin.

Its free to enter New Jersey but you have to pay to leave. Every time i drop someone off in NJ i request a fare adjustment for bridge toll.

What I can't stand is for every 10 tolls I have on trips, I have to request a fare adjustment on 8 of them. Their software is supposed to do that automatically, but most times it doesn't.

And here in Maryland it can add up. Two tunnels in Baltimore, Key Bridge, Intercounty Connector, and the occasional trip that takes you across the Bay Bridge. If you get a run into DC or VA, there are more. I know there are other places who have more and I'm not sure how the drivers can keep up. I load money to the EZ pass constantly
