I heard that Uber is being looked into for unfair practices towards drivers where some driver groups are given preferential rides over others? Cherry picking long trips etc for certain preferred driver groups?? If true, it would be the algorithm that’s programmed to do this & very unfair and illegal.

When I read " I heard" followed by some new conspiracy theory about Uber, I automatically assume BS and move on. If you're not prepared to name your source then it's fair to assume it's just BS.

It's usually some ant who signed up thinking it's his/her ticket to riches but quickly realises that after all the costs he/she is working for next to nothing and so starts to think there must be some conspiracy against me and all those Camrys out there are printing money LOL

There was a theory going around that drivers on the lower commission were getting lower requests because Uber makes less money out of them.

I also have a theory that if you drive lux and you have lux, black and select switched on you are less likely to get black and select as Uber wants its lux fleet ready for a lux request and will give black and select exclusive drivers first preference.
