From my understanding the Nevada website will be posting, or updating website for ride share drivers ? I am hearing this could take up to 4 weeks or more to be able to file ? This can’t take that long . I reached out to a few people that are from other states and they are hearing same information? Why would it take a month to post a link ? I think especially with the number of drivers affected in Vegas this would be an Urgent fix ? Anyone have any concrete evidence on this ? Looks like

What $450 from Nevada? The regular UI is maxed at $469. That comes from your employer or former employer paid through Nevada. The $600 is from the Cares bill signed into law yesterday. And that’s up to $600.

When you apply for UI through DETR it shows your estimated benefit based on the last 5 quarters of work. Gig jobs don’t count because they don’t pay into the unemployment insurance program. It’s going to take time for them to implement it out of the blue, especially since they are overwhelmed with 10x the normal new applications. IMO the federal govt. should have set this up separately in conjunction with the IRS since they would havethe filings anyway and are funding it.

The system wasnt designed to help out with a welfare goverment grant my friend for unemployment.Thats why its going to take some time for rs drivers.You will get it though.Probally about 2to3weeks sir.Once a week there is a guy offering good title loan rates at the airport driver waiting area.I think he is there tuesdays and fridays 1pm to3pm in a gray 300.He just needs a current utility bill,Title.Also your car cant have over 100thousand miles on it.He seems like a nice guy though and is helping everybody.

More info to add for ride share drivers if you didn't file for taxes in 2018 and 2019 your $1200 check may take 3weeks or longer before you see iit n your mailbox 😂 the check comes from irs🤔😧 .

Mine will offset some of my taxes so that's good. I paid an estimate I knew would be a little short of paying the full amount over the year so that's fine I kept more during the year and saved anyway.

the problem is when a recession or something comes along, most people don't live within their needs and complain. So many people live paycheck to paycheck. Most spend over half their money on rent and when they pay basic essentials they have spent 90% of the money they made that month. I try and keep mine around 50% for everything which includes all groceries and rent phone car insurance utilities etc but not eating out.

Me and my partner together bring in between $5,000-$6,000 a month but our essentials and bills we spend roughly just $3,000 a month. And we have a house too.

You deserve NOTHING! You should have got NOTHING! Your crap stain on humanity "employer" classified you as a non employee so they could avoid paying into the system that would take care of you in cases like this. You chose to take this path that led you into having NOTHING in a case like this and they bailed you out anyway and here you are complaining you won't be getting close to 1K a week fast enough.
