Ive recently filed for UI (Im working full time on Uber for
Over 2y) and just recieved the UI finding with calculated UI of 0$. So Id like to ask you if you’ve had similar responce because Ive seen many people applying for UI as soon as president signed the bill. Is it still to early for
the State to reprogram the system ? And other thing that Im concerned about Is if you can work after filing for UI , given the current situation and uncertainty when we will be included in UI system

You may have to file an appeal with your 1099 forms.... But then again that seven weeks thing will probably go to nine or 10. If you file taxes last year you should be able to get the $1200 check soon. Depending how you received your refund, LOL, from last years Tax return. If they did a direct deposit you should get the money in your account quicker than snail mail.

Not trying to sound like a jerk, but the IDES website clearly states:

"This portion of the benefits expansion package has not yet been implemented. Further details about the program, how to apply, and eligibility requirements will be made as soon as they have been finalized at IDES.Illinois.gov"

It's too early to file. Most states are not yet set up to handle the switch to gig workers. There are already several threads on this subject on the forum.
