I originally posted this in the Raleigh forum as it is more active and helpful as compared to the Charlotte forum.
Here is the latest from the des.nc.gov website.
It appears April 25 is the approximate date the website will be ready to accept "Pandemic Unemployment Assistance" requests.

Standard N.C. Unemployment benefits regularly occur for 20 weeks.

The Federal Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation Program would allow for 13 weeks of additional benefits.

The Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation Plan provides an additional $600/wk on top of the state benefits and will run through July 31. I can’t find solid information on whether this is retroactive or not. I see information that indicates that it is and other info indicating it is not.

I was in around 5am and site was up....guess it crashed already. I was able to get my claim filed again. Don't really feel too confident about it.
Every time I try to sign in it keeps going to that one page that keeps saying that the system is under maintenance

I just got back in....must be up and down....
So does it come up where you can apply for the Pua in your claim or do you have to try to do a whole new claim?

I keep getting this stupid thing popping up

Try cleaning out then"cache " in your web browser

I had to do a new claim. I initially filed on 3/29 and my claim was in a "pending" status as of last night. Overnight they changed it to "inelgible". Once logged in it allows you to re-file. you end up with 2 claims; One for standard NC UI and another for the Federal PUA.

Yes I was finally able to get in but I had to go onto a different search engine it was a lot of fact finding. I did site the staying home order for my work being screwed up. Also Gastonia had a stay at home order
As my own business I have to follow state and county law. Hope we get it. Otherwise I will appeal.

Good to hear...I referenced nc and mecklenburg county stay at home directives. Meck county has a statement in theirs that for operating businesses they must adhere to the 6ft social distancing requirement...which I can’t do in my 2017 Hyundai Elantra unless they ride in the trunk.

I hate to say it but sometimes the truck sounds like a good idea for some passengers well I guess we play it by ear or now.

I also set in a snapshot of both the Gaston County order and the Carolina order just in case they forgot LOL

Let me know if you get it I will let you know then we can see where it went wrong and appeal on that basis and get approved.

Will do....to be honest I have been planning for worst case scenario and having to appeal. I have been looking at other boards where people have successfully applied and ran across this in the Chicago forums I think. It looks like only 1099's were needed for Approval in this case.

I will continue to research for as much help as possible. Each state, as we know, is different but there should be similarities that might help us get approved in NC.

Yes I was great to read about I only got one 1099-k and that was on 2018 from Uber since I didn't make over 20,000 I didn't get one from Lyft all I got was a tax summary which I uploaded when did ask me to upload my documents I don't know if it would make a difference to fax it but I do not see why we should not get it.

Would have been nice had someone just walked us through all this
