I just want to share one simple trick which I used yesterday and today while I was calling them and I connected to a live agent .The trick is that first you have to press options quickly like 1 2 9 5 .Then do not listen any message.Press social security and press 1 quickly ,then Enter pin quickly without listening while message.The trick you have to apply here is that when you enter your pin ,enter 1 with it also.For example if your pin is like 0000 ,you would press 00001 together and quickly,try this way ,maybe it would work for you guys as well

i have a verizon phone, it does seem to get to the ss and personal pin quite a lot, but going past that automated message " call back later" was very difficult. Calling before 8:00 am and keep trying till clock turns 8:00 am is very imnportant, once you are in the New York dept menu then chances are you will get connected to a human. it worked for me i started calling around 7:50.
