Went to open the Partner app this morning and was informed there was an update. Downloaded the update and am now getting the message in the thread title.

A network connection is required to verify.... blah blah. Connect to the internet and try again.

I know I'm connected to the internet on my iPhone 6. Have sent a message to Uber tech support. Nothing yet. Anyone else having new install issues this morning?

possible solution: I disconnected from my home wi-fi. I then was able to verify (connected to sprint LTE). Now I'm being informed there is another "app update" so we'll see where this gets me.

All good, app is working normally.
