I prefer Uber eats over DD because the app is soo much easier to use. A few days ago I uploaded the new insurance cards, they were approved. All was up to date.

The next day, I was unable to go online, it says “Please add or selecta vehicle eligible in this city.”
It has my car listed with a check mark that shows it’s approved, but it will not let me check it.
Uber phone support has been 0 help and the Hub is closed during Quarantine.
I’ve done all of the troubleshooting procedures. Has anybody else ran into this? Is there really a problem with the app, or is it just because they’re not charging customers a fee during this time and do not want to pay the large Qwest rewards?

You might as well stick to DD because UE is getting oversaturated with too many people turning on deliveries. I haven't received a ping in over three hours and I've been driving all over with DD

Did you resolve this and if so can you share how it was accomplished? I'm having the same issue. New car added with docs, it's selected but won't allow me to go online.

When you go to documents do any show ‘Needs Attention’? I had the same issue and clicked on background check, then it changed from green to orange. I clicked it and submitted the background check box, it ran it and I was online again in 4 hours.

Hi, I have faced the same issue from yesterday. I cannot go online, it says before you go online add or select a vehicle eligible in this city. i messaged to uber help section and they said the problem is resolved but then again i am facing same problem. i don't know if it's gonna be fixed. Has anyone's problem got fixed later??

I am facing the same issue with UE. I added a new vehicle and all documents along with it. Everything is green and active but i cant go online as the message keeps popping up. Ive messaged support but they havent replied yet for over 20hours...

How did this issue get resolved for you? I don't do Uber Eats, but I'm still getting the same error message in the app.

My problem is fixed. My account was Registered in New south wales state and now i have moved to different state. So i transferred my account location to current state then i was requested to re upload the documents and it got fixed on 2 days. Call to uber and say them to switch your account location. Hope this helps.

How did you change your location setting on the uber driver app? My issue is that I can't even go online in the city I signed up in, and the Uber "support" team are ******ed and keep saying the same response in different words to me, every time they finally reply to me its a different person, then they said i can only deliver in my sign up city.... which I cant do because 1) I never changed my region settings, and 2) I still cant go online in my own sign up city..
They keep closing my support request thinking they have fixed it when all they keep suggesting is sending screenshots of the issue (ihave sent 10 of the same screenshots) honestly so fed up with them at this point, its been 6 days and they have done nothing to fix it

did you changed the state? If your account is registered in some another state and now if you are trying to do uber in Melbourne then 1st you need to change your account location permanently to Melbourne. That might fix it. Good luck

Hi, sorry for getting back late. Is your issue already fixed? Are you a new user or you used to do uber eats and this thing came? Generally this issue occurs if you change your delivery region or if you change your vehicle.

I having the same issue. the uber robotics reply doesn't help at all.
Yeah thier support sucks these days. But you need to chase them or else there is no any other way.

I figured it out, not sure what part worked but here’s what I did in this exact order. I changed my address in the app to my old address, the state I initially signed up for Uber in. That didn’t seem to change anything so I added my car on again, the same exact one and then while I was waiting for my insurance to be approved I restarted my iPhone. When I went to go online it allowed me to select between the two cars I had on there, they were both the same car but i selected the one that wasn’t already selected. It then prompted me to put in the color of the car and then it let me go online thank god.

For me I added my same car again after my docs was approved (again), there was 2 of the same cars to choose from. I selected the second car and it prompted to select a color and acknowledge covid then I was good to drive! Hope this helps because it is the only workaround I’ve found for this frustrating issue.

Call and have them manually remove one after. I kept getting notifications that one of my documents (insurance) wasn’t approved. It was because I was using the same insurance policy for both entries (as it’s the same car). Was a very quick call.
