Weirdest thing, maybe I'm not the one this happened to.
Got a request 2:02am friday night, bar close, 2.0x surge, DF, heading home.
On my way to pickup getting a popup message saying, "new rider automatically added", which is weird, as it was a regular UberX. Same pickup, so I write it off to an app glitch and proceed.
Pickup, drive, drop off, check the trip - got paid fare and 1,5x Boost, which was avail 12-2am, but not after 2 when I got that request and the city started surging. And the trip details says requested at 1:51 am... which is not when I accepted it.
Messaging support, getting generic responses, that fare and boost is correct. Very shady, Uber...
Did anyone else notice this kind of BS? Uber switching rides on you without your accepting?
