I don't think people being sick would be an issue.. and it's nice driving up in the hills. Pay is good especially because it's 10am to 4pm which would generally be a base fare period so is an opportunity to make more.Too unpredictable, you get both uber x and vino, which means after working 5 hours you could have a request for vino.
Also, wine tours and tasting means loud and sick. Good pay though, they should have done this over the January period when it was quieter, and summer.
So did anyone on here do any Ubervino? I ddint get one! Tho I did let numerous riders know about it (coming from the hills area myself)
No, I didn't. I was invited, but declined the invitation. Can you register for this or do you have to be invited?
Thanks. Two rides!!??living in the hills I thought it might of been a good one to get on..... latest email from Tom suggests it was successful so maybe they had two rides?
I quote "This March, we ran uberVINO, our version of an SA wine tour, and it was a huge hit with riders!"

The best bit?
Über has partnered with SAPOL to allow drivers to also indulge in our vignerons' delights as long as their blood alcohol level remains below 0.10 whilst on an uberVINO trip.
ThanksThe two rides was tongue in cheek!!
