Uber has to come up with something meaningful, cheapos getting smart, if they see uber surging they'll turn to Ola-Rolla.
Same ant, less sugar.
The best tactic for uber is to top up fare between 7am-9am with at least 30% multiples of the fare to be fair.

Forgot to load surgechaser
Suddenly a flood of Ola requests
Endless
Couldnt even log off Ola
Turn on uber and surging 2.1x
Highest ding was 1.7x so just took a long Ola trip towards home

Hilarious
If all those stupid ants logged off Ola during Surge, the paxholes would have no choice but to go back to Uber. Ants that take Ola/Taxify during Uber surge are dumber than base ants or airport ants. They just ruin it for everyone.
Also to the OP. Unless you were really going to the airport, even a trip to Camberwell/Hawthorn/Richmond would get you more than your ola trip and you would still be in surge zone for 7am

I didn't plan to, but happened to wake up at 4:30am. And after a few minutes of playing with red yolks on the heatmap, I jupmed on the car. Lol
