 We continue to drive night and day the broken streets and dangerous Enclaves of our Dystopian world I call Uberland. Chasing pennies for our Millennial Overlords. Like human driving robots that risk being deactivated and left in our worn out modules on the side of the road. We continue to drive the chosen ones The "Rider Class". We are fueled on cheap gasoline, fast food value menus and caffeinated beverages. This has become our Destiny and we have no Future.

You're bringin' me down man...
Sometimes when I'm driving around by myself on the Lunar Landscape, the streets of New Orleans in Scorching heat. I have these revelations of the true reality of our existence. I have seen real life Zombies, fights breaking out at the bus stop next to me stopped at the red light Hoping the light will change before the bullets start to fly. Stuck in traffic downtown while the guy in front of me stops and pulls a girl out of the car and beats her down in the street. My passenger who was robbed the night before and went to the Verizon store to get a new phone ,wants to call the Police because there is a small child in the car. I reply welcome to New Orleans. I am currently working on a blog about my experiences as an Uber driver . Will keep you guys posted!

I hope you get it up and running soon. I need more "stories" to pass on as my own to my passengers. I'm running out of material for the "so what was hurricane Katrina like for you?" Questions every got dam tourist asks.

I think a blog is a great idea! I've been thinking the same thing. Although, maybe it's cuz I leave the meter on all day and try to quit before the zombies come out..I haven't had nearly the scary experiences you have. Funny though! A drunk lady kissed me the other night. She leaned forward like she was gonna shake my hand and instead used it to pull her self forward to plant one right on my cheek! I hope you'll consider guest authors. Let me know.

That's nuts. That's when a camera inside the vehicle would come in handy. I'm worried that you thought that was funny. If it were a man would you still think it was funny? Do you usually just let strangers kiss you or even get close enough to try and kiss you? Honey you are a woman driving strangers around in one of the most dangerous cities in America. There is nothing funny about that.

This was a fluffy middle aged blonde drunk off her ass. She had no idea what she was doing, and I was only too grateful she didn't puke in my backseat before I got her safely onto the sidewalk. If it were a man, I would have split his skull before he knew what happened with the razor sharp chinese cleaver I keep at the handy at all times. I hope I never feel the need to use it.

Also, I think a dash cam is a great idea. It is first on my list. I've only been at this 3 weeks and at the whopping less than $10 an hour minus expenses I've been raking in on this gig, it's probably gonna take awhile to get the extra money together.

You're making excuses for the irresponsible drunk. Women rape other women too. You just don't hear much about it. Please be careful in these streets. And don't give ANYONE a pass just because they look harmless to you.

I agree that we must remain vigilant and personal safety first. However, I wasn't worried about this woman..just surprised. It wasn't really a sexual kiss...something like you might give your elderly aunt on your way home from Thanksgiving. We'd had a laugh filled ride with her somewhat sober friend in the front seat and I think she just forgot herself on the way out. Trust me, I know threat when I see it. This was just silly.

Not a sexual kiss? From a drunken stranger? Honey any violation of my personal space is sexual. Don't give these Uber passengers any credit. They are all scum. Why do you think they would call an uber instead of a friend or a REAL taxi?

If all uber passengers are scum, what does that make us for driving them instead of driving a real taxi?

And would you ask permission from every passenger to audio and video record them, as you've said before, is the law?

Stalker much? Why would I ask when I have a sign posted? And I don't secretly record audio inside the vehicle. I give my passengers their privacy. I could care less about a rating because I give everyone good service.
