Yall are going about this all wrong IMO. Personally in not giving a shit about other permits. My tlc license and car is enough. I dont really care if im gonna get fined because this isnt my career its just a part time job; if i get fined I'll stop ubering and i wont pay it. Yesterday did almost a full day out on the island, mostly parallel to the Ronkonkoma branch of the LIRR; i.e. Bethpage Mineola Farmingdale Wyndach. Had a pretty good day. I would recommend Farmingdale airport as you have private flights coming in all the time. Might get a nice ride back to the city

YES. LI trips are handled by UberNYC and you need a TLC license to be in the UBERNYC system.

I hailed in Uber in Farmingdale and got a -TX plated Prius. Was a soccer mom who was doing it to keep busy. Dont know if she was making a lot, didn't ask. So i am not sure if you need NYC TLC
