It doesn’t really make a difference for me but I hope it does for the restaurants.

I ordered extra and tipped triple what I usually do in cash but in app bc I don’t know how they feel about cash with everything going on... I mean I can assume they’re braver then those who aren’t delivering but still.

I appreciate em like I appreciate the delivery (ups, fedex etc).

UberEats waives delivery fees for restaurants
I say this is good. With the high fees that UE charges restaurants, delivery probably makes no profit for them. They need a busy dining room to make their money. If restaurants decided to end in-restaurant dining, not having those exorbitant fees for delivery means they may decide to stay open. The big question is, how does UE make up that lost revenue? On our end by eliminating boosts?

If they pay much less, they'll have to ask us to pay them for the privilege of working for them.
True lol , it's been so dead here on UE it's not working anyways I think alot of people are weary about eats driver also picking up passengers and/or more RS drivers taking eats orders now as evidenced in other posts. DD has been very busy I've been declining most to low or high distance, but got some good ones made $75 from 1230-5p. Not hoping for it but I think they may just end up shutting down restaurants entirely, right now it's take out or Delivery only. The roads are dead for a Tuesday feels like a Sunday.

They waive most Delivery fees already in my market on almost every order , or it's like 99 cents , they make their money off the 15 percent service fee regardless of $$$ amount it's always 15 percent.
It's smoke and mirrors. You get charged a delivery fee but they just call it something else. I think the fee should atleast be given to the driver.

Tip with sealed rolls of toilet paper . . .
I actually have tons, I brought 2 years supply in bulk because well, I like buying in bulk.

like I spend a ton in Sephora but once a year when they have 25%. I stock up for the year. Enough to get me Vip rogue the next year.

plan ahead = save money.
