I forgot to turn Uber Eats off last night. Foolishly, I accepted one late last night to go to a McDonalds. A minute later, I get a call from "Uber Eats support" ( weird number 448081785517 ), a woman with an Asian accent. She says the call will be recorded and wants to give me a new address to deliver the order to.
Alarm bells start going off in my head. Carjacking? Scam? Who knows. I told her I was cancelling the order and hung up. I didn't stick around to find out what the new address was.
Later, I found this thread. Exact same phone number. Apparently this has been happening in other cities:

I added 448081785517 to the list of numbers my phone will block.
