You'll have to try delivering on a Friday or Saturday, after midnight that's usually when a fair amount of them are getting plastered and I believe it's those customers we can't locate although with some it's possible as early as 10p and even on Thursdays to a degree... Any other day and during the day, especially with sober folks I dare say the chances of missing a customer are fairly rare however...

At the beginning I've waited and waited and waited before...
Up to 20 minutes between texting and trying to call and waiting some more...
I'd walk all around, sometimes two and three times before even starting to wonder...
Finally they show up.

Towards the end I was getting far more jaded, I had it down to the specifications in the app.
I'd walk around once, maybe try the door communicator thing but flat out if the customer wasn't some kind of there or waiting?
So many minutes = text / call.
Wait so many more minutes, then cancel.
Shortly after I stopped driving altogether.
All in all I donated one or two meals, I took a good 100+ deliveries myself.

I once had an order where the pax turned out to be in a completely different state. Somehow they managed to not give the updated location while ordering. Free Indian food for me plus the paid delivery.

It is very rare indeed. I also don't eat half the crap these pax order anyways, so I'm more inclined to wait the extra 2 min and then email support afterwards and hope they adjust the fare up, otherwise its disposed to the nearest homeless person I see.

Has happened once, almost twice.

Lady failed to mention she was ordering for her son at school nor included his name. at the school I go into the office and ask if so and so worked there "no one by that name works here" call uber they call the lady "oh you're supposed to drop it off for the son at the gate" "what's the sons name?" "Oh i didn't ask, I'll have to call you back" few minutes later they call back and tell me.

So I pop over to the school gate and kid grabs it from me and dumps it in the trash. "Lunch in over in 2 minutes and the nachos are cold now. Thanks ALOT!"

I had 4 no-shows back to back on a Saturday night. Uber sent me a warning message but paid for all the deliveries. The worst part was that I couldn't find any homeless people and had to dispose of the food in a wasteful manner.
I'm very hungry person and sometimes I don't make enough to eat so I hope and pray .. I going to be buying a bike now can't afford to use my car

GH support is great. They answer when you call and CSR is in USA. With DH, you have to chat and then ask for a call. I haven't called Eats support and hope I never have to.
I call them every day
