UBER'S RESPONSE, SOMEWHAT OWNING UP TO EPIC FAIL:
Today during the Pope's visit, demand was much lower than anticipated.
We appreciate you letting us know in advance that you planned to drive, and we understand your time is valuable.
We apologize for any idle time you may have spent on the road.
Instead of driving tomorrow morning, we recommend driving tomorrow night or this weekend, when demand will likely be much greater.

......another Uber Bust just like that Columbia, Maryland music festival disaster. Someone at Uber did not know that business slows to a trickle here during the High Holy Days, as it is. Add to this the well publicised warnings of trafffic snarls that everyone heeded. To be sure, the driving public often does not heed these warnings, but, every once in a while, it does. For the Pope's visit, the public heeded the warnings and stayed home.
