As long as you can opt out of this BS. Not taking Pools to the airport and them arguing about the lack of luggage space. Not dealing with passengers whining about not being dropped off first cause their address was "on the way". Had enough of Pool BS.
One thing I tried to avoid was having more than 2 pickups going to the airport. I was careful at the end and put on stop request after the second pickup, especially around 4 a.m. The 3rd pickup could be 2 passengers. And on top of that I noticed uber was making a big profit on 3 pickups to the airport when another uber driver could have taken that airport uberfool trip.

If you opt out rejecting those rides You know your future earning . If you decline those uber it will reduce your pings to 20% and make you think again if you want those rides or not ... Remember you have Gumba Rumba Mayor and Company like Uber going to ply their rules as they wish .

Or the most common one when they have to walk a few blocks "is it here? Oh i didn't know I have to walk"

Yeah I hated people taking Lyft Line or Uber Pool to airports. Driving a sedan you run out of luggage space fast but these Paxh*les don't care. The only good thing about Pool was that they didn't count bad ratings for driver not dropping them off on time cause of other passengers or taking the Uber route. Lyft on the other hand would count every passenger rating pretty much destroying my ratings till I stopped picking up Line altogether and noticed my ratings go back up to 5 stars.

You are right I did notice that when I rejected pools my pings greatly reduced. See this is the kind of discrimination we need to fight with a class action lawsuit. Like if you aren't coercing drivers into doing something by reducing their pings then are they really Independent contractors or are they actually your employees?

They are the kings you are the Slave nothing you can do . TLC are City agency.. City it is Corrupted administration by this Corporation . The Lookout it was Unconstitutional procedure against working people and No body did no Sheet about it was Discriminatory action and forced Some Drivers to Extrem Level of exploration

UberX Share is 5% cheaper than UberX and offers riders Uber Cash if they share their trip with another rider going in the same direction.

You will get a minimum of $2 in Uber Cash on a trip if the app matches you with a co-rider. (This Uber Cash can be used toward your next trip or order with Uber Eats.)

If the system does not match you with a co-rider, the cost of the trip will be equal to the price you were shown at the time it was requested.

Please note that if the second rider orders and then cancels a trip with UberX Share, you may not receive any Uber Cash for that trip.

To make traveling with UberX Share enjoyable, please read the rules below:

  • You can only request an UberX Share trip for 1 passenger.
  • After requesting an UberX Share trip, you will not be able to change your pickup address or destination.
  • Cancellation of an UberX Share trip is free for the first 2 minutes after it's been accepted by the driver. If you cancel your trip after 2 minutes or more, a cancellation fee will apply.
  • The driver must wait for you at the pickup location for at least 2 minutes. After 2 minutes of waiting, the driver can cancel the trip. In this case, a cancellation fee will be applied.


5% cheaper and uber store credit? lmfao there's ppl waiting 15 min+ for lyft wait and save

I mean they might make a stupid reason to tank your ratings but Uber did announce at that time that Pool ratings won't be effected for time and route taken. Maybe passengers might have used other reasons, but to be fair my ratings never went down even when I used Pool heavily. I was at 4.97 and I stayed there.

Lyft on the other hand was a mess. They count all LINE ratings for any reasons. My ratings would always go south on the days I was getting Lyft Line passengers mostly. The situation got so bad it didn't take long for my ratings to go down to 4.68 in a matter of two months or so. Whenever I contacted them they said they'd remove the 1 stars with no reason. Other than that they couldn't do nothing and had no answer as to why I was getting 1 stars on Line. My regular rides were almost always 5 stars. All they said was to be nice to customers and be friendl, basically all the same BS. I was like well in that case I am not taking any more LINE passengers. They were like your choice.

After that day my ratings went up fast and now since the past 4 years or so I have been 5 stars on Lyft. Now I use it mostly for DF but it is what it is. Lol

That's another reason why doing shared ride sucks. One Uberfool paxhole gave me a one star and marked all the negative feedbacks possible (customer service, cleanliness, safety, etc) cause he had to walked 1 long block. Since he marked down speed uber sent me an email saying one of my paxholes says i was spending and I reply telling them they might most likely get this feedback from this passenger showning discomfort he had to walk. My rating now is always above 4.90 on uber and lyft always 5.0 or 4.97 the lowest as lyft rating is easier to keep it cause they are based on the last 100 rides not 500 like Uber.
