Can any of you guys offer any help here? I've been driving continuously with Uber for nearly a year, and in that time I have uploaded documents with no problems. However, I am now offline and can not get back online as Uber refuse to accept insurance, hire agreement or permission letter. Despite trying different pictures and trying multiple times, I have received nonsensical responses from Uber. Basically no help at all. Over the last few days I have tried many times and the response time from Uber slower every time. It's got to the point where I am being fobbed off and ignored.
The paperwork I'm certain is completely legitimate and clear. From a hire firm which provides other vehicles for Uber drivers with few problems.

Can anybody work out what is going on? Has anybody else experienced a similar situation, and if so why?

Maybe its time to make a trip to their office, face to face dialogue should get you up & running. Good luck.

 

 

That may be my only option now. The thing is with Uber being one of the largest tech companies in the world and not being able or willing to help a driver get on the road? Uber help is pathetic, probably deliberately so.

Thats why uber should never be your primary income, its a faceless corporation but tbh which ph firm really gives shit about their drivers?

Have you tried asking the hire firm and what did they say?

 

They gave me a permission letter as requested by Uber. This is after they requested my hire agreement and rejected it.
The hire company I have been with for the past year while driving with Uber.
The hire company says it has 10 or more other cars being used with Uber at the moment that are not having the same issues as I am.

Not sure the process with hire companys, but what reasons they gave for rejecting? Arent you able to engage in a email communication with uber?

What the hell is up with these people!?

The documents are as clear as day. Containing every single piece of info they could possibly need.
