UBER went down in L.A. for me at 7:20 A.M. App would not allow me start a ride once I had the passenger in the car. "Error. Please Try Again." for 1/2 hour while I was driving. Passenger was going on a 30 mile ride and had to be there for a crucial training session. So I decided I was going to "reverse bill" him when I dropped him off by retracing the route back once the App allowed me to start the ride again. (Turned the phone off to reboot.) I had to be back to L.A. anyway and gave him a $5 discount by ending the ride early for his troubles. Got him there at 7:50 A.M. by the way, 10 minutes before his appointment. No thanks to UBER crash.
