Why BBC the partners at Uber? This is called "the element of surprise," b/c Uber expected the Aussies to be obedient (unlike us Yanks ) and follow through with their suggestion to C&P Uber's self-serving letter to members of the Australian government.

<Addition . . . In no way did I intend this post to be rude, or to make fun of my fellow-posters down under. It was my first knee-jerk reaction to the request Uber made. I doubt seriously Uber would ask the same of its "partners" here in the USA. >
