Who are these Uber VIP's??

People that take Uber at least ten times a month. That is all. No rating requirement or anything else.

Nor do these riders receive any special benefits from being a VIP, which is the same deal as drivers since they don't get any VIP incentive either. Pointless...

And they usually take short trips... But I no longer drive X anymore so no more VIP for me! Yippy! They can come off a bit snobby because gave them the VIP title lol

Basically, as a VIP driver, I get pinged from even further distances than normal.

It bypasses the the 4.7 rated driver that's sitting a half a mile from the pax and pings the VIP driver (me) that's 20 minutes away.

Then I get to listen to the VIP pax talk about how they should get discounts and free rides for attaining such status. That's the conversation as I drive them a mile down the road.

The VIP pax are really drinking the kool aid. Like I should be rolling out the red carpet for the pax to enter my Honda civic and then offer happy ending.

It's just another way for uber to reward the pax and keep us from being profitable.

Sorry uber! If I it's not profitable, it's not worth my time.

I'll keep driving eats.

I was in downtown 5pm got vip ping in atl station like 20 min away. Another x driver much closer.

I had a couple of the VIP pax lately and they were well behaved and on time when I arrived but I feel uber is just giving riders these false sense of being special by labeling them a VIP.

Sometimes I get newbie riders when other cars are closer. I wonder if Uber does not want to match newbie riders and newbie drivers if a veteran driver over 4.85 stars is just a few more minutes away.

At least VIPs are always at X pricing for what that is worth.

I was at the airport in queue with a 3-13 minute wait time and a VIP ping came in that was 17 minutes away.. I watched the count down Bye .Bye Felicia.. A few minutes later got a ping for the airport and off to Douglasville I went..

Where are you in airport?

Those things will limit if the que comes up.

I'm Uber X.

I drop off someone at the terminal and complete my trip and it goes automatically into queue. Both North or South terminal..

I've been in queue before and have gotten a ping for a VIP a good distance away.. I have notice lately u have to be in the general area of the airport to go into queue, before I would be 3 miles away and be in queue..
