DiDi would never waste money on Australian salary packages and superannuation paying local staff.
DiDi Travel is just staff in China sitting around a table trying to compete with inDrive.
Not sure if you have inDrive in Brisbane but there are not enough inDrive drivers in Melb. DiDi don't really have anything to worry about, yet. Nobody knows what inDrive is. Most of my inDrive pax tell me they most of the time cannot get picked up. InDrive operates in a lot of countries where DiDi operates therefore most likely have been a major threat abroad. So the staff in China are trying to quash them, quickly. InDrive operate in Mexico where DiDi is huge, inDrive also operate in Brazil where 99 is the main rideshare app (99 is completely owned and operated by DiDi) remember Brazil has a population of 200 million with megacities.
