UberRon and drivindad ever heard of
"Two wrongs don't make a right." ?
Is there anyway we can warn the boys in Canberra that after spending $2-3k on fees, licenses, accreditation, road worthy, training etc to get on the road that they wont be making any money ? After 3500 Uberx drivers get on the road there wont be enough work to go around ?
Surely there must be some way we can warn them ?
I will take this opportunity to warn new drivers about the pitfalls of driving fri, sat nights. I did for 8 years and one thing is for sure you will be transporting plenty of drunks intent on a rage over the weekend. They will be rude to you, show off infront of their friends by giving you a hard time. They will also vomit in your car. They're drunk and can't help it.
Next is damage to the inside of your car. They will often kick, hit, twist stuff to see how strong it is. They will often want to eat and drink inside of your car often resulting in spills or a mess left behind.
If it's a particularly long trip some ladies will pee on your seat. Too embarassed infront of friends to ask you for a pit stop half of them probably don't realise what they've done. The guys just get out and pee on your wheel. Less common is blood found in your car if they have a nose bleed or are injured from a scuffle.
I have even had a passenger wanting a trip with her push bike. Not fitting in the boot it fits on the back seat ! and axle grease is left behind from the chain.
I believe that some people will also try to have sex while on the back seat. Thats another story. Have you ever noticed 99.9% of Taxis have jet black interiors, theres a good reason for that.
I wont discuss here the number of drivers bashed, robbed, stabbed or killed each year in every state. There was one driver burned alive when the passengers threw him in the boot and started a bonfire under his car.
As they say "forewarned is forearmed".
