LYFT not participating. Lol let Uber pay for it then follow suit. Smart
Some 12 year old kid is designing something in Facebook right now that will either compete with these bloodsuckers or disinter-mediate them out using crypto currency or block chain derivative.

We understand that you don't like labor unions - that's understandable.
Let us give you a few tips on how to make sure your company is never unionized:
  1. Compensate your labor force fairly.
  2. Discipline your labor force fairly, consistently and transparently, with due process.
  3. Treat your labor force with dignity rather than as a commodity.
  4. Consider the voices of your labor force in your decision making.
We guarantee that if you do these things, regardless of what laws are enacted to allow for unionization, few if any laborers will choose to unionize.

In other words, YOU are the reason unions are either necessary or irrelevant.
And YOU have the power to prevent them from representing your labor force in collective bargaining.

We should call ourselves a Uber Friendly Society (UFS) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tolpuddle_Martyrs rather than a trade union. One thing is certain, Uber will throw the best and most lethal legal talent they can find to make sure they win. If they should lose than this ruling would have world wide implications for the slave economy.

So if we become 'unionized or friendly society' doesn't it follow that we would be employees? We could have our dues and pensions collected at source along with our federal, state and city remittances.

The Uber life would be such a simple and transparent experience, hell we could even have a credit card company to issue official credit cards that would also be auto deposit after 12 hour shift. Further more wouldn't it make sense to have vehicle insurance automatically deducted, Friendly Society dues, health insurance, disability and pension deductions.

Report just released by the Canadian Federal gov't is predicting that 40 % of all jobs today will disappear in the next 10 years. The automation and digital infrastructure is here and Uber knows that as well as we do. If we have only 5 years or more before the Uber fleet becomes semi autonomous at least will have a chance before we're all kicked into the capitalist garbage can.
