ive done the whole accept/cancel/other method of skipping calls i dont want lately. the last two days, ive had very few requests. i was curious if uber was retaliating against me, so i requested uber while logged on, dropping pin right on top of myself. three times in a row, i got drivers 15 minutes away, and quickly cancelled. i cant figure out if this is uber saying "**** you for not doing business OUR way" or if it's rider app wonkiness. ive noticed, and a couple others ive talked to have noticed also that the rider app has their position WAY more lagged than usual the last couple of days.

Ive canceled 5 in a row and still got pings right after.

Their system, the code, the algorithm is garbage.

Just Vedio tape that and drag their F A$$ to court. Heard they blacklisting some drivers by skipping on them on pings ,it s under investigation I heard !!!

Note the cognitive dissonance here.

--Uberlyft doesn't care about drivers (i.e., screw 'em).
--Uberlyft cares so gosh-darn much about drivers (i.e., screw 'em) that they'll secretly tweak the algorithm -- in a way that also screws pax -- without telling the drivers.

Sometimes, "Uber doesn't care..." really does mean "Uber doesn't care..."

Uber retaliated against you the day you became a Partner.

You should email Partner Support to find out what's going on, and keep those emails as evidence.

Demand has high and low periods in every form of ground transportation. It's possible that there just aren't that many people looking for an uber ride today. I've had times where I have gone as long as 3-4 hours without a ping. Usually I change where I'm sitting after 30 minutes with no requests. Sometimes I just move from the couch to the chair because I don't want to leave the house without a ping.

i figured out that the times i was able to request myself, it was because i was driver on iphone and passenger on android. i was using the android for both yesterday, so maybe that's it.
