Hey Folks new driver here Columbus OH. Decided to take the leap and start driving after I kept seeing the ads Uber was sending me for a new driver bonus. Offer was that if I completed 200 rides/deliveries in first 30 days, they would guarantee me minimum of $2600.00 of salary/tips. Whatever I made less, Uber would make up the difference. Sounded great. Except my account shows they are offering me only a minimum $2140.00 instead.
I've called a couple of times but seems like I am getting the runaround. A sent them screenshots of the offer/terms. Any advice you guys can give me for my dispute? Ask to speak to a supervisor? I will for sure reach the 200 deliveries, I m almost there.

Send the screenshot and tell them the amount is wrong. Dealing with support is tedious & frustrating. Keep it short and simple, and be polite. Use the bare minimum and simplest words you can.

Support staff are over worked, underpaid and foreign. At some point they will tell you that it's been forwarded to someone who can handle it and you should hear back in X-Y days. At Y days send reply back asking for an update, with the screen shot and one or two sentences recapping your issue.

Keeping it simple, being patient, and polite are Essential. It will most likely take Y- days × 2 or 3.

Yeah, multiple escalation to supervisors and tickets filed.... still no progress. They all think I never received the guarantee, then confirm I did and drop it. They dont understand I did get the guarantee but for the wrong amount and Uber cheated me out of $460 ... I did the work they need to live up to their end. Way to start off our relationship Uber
