Americans are the best in the world at stealing, hacking, and generally just destroying anything unprotected that could be useful in some way. and I see the drones as fitting in that category. There would be an entire cottage industry of drone pilfering, with the marketing levels starting first, with quickly disposing of the food for money, second, disposing of fully captured drones for money, and third, distributing the parts of drones damaged during the capture for money.

Of course it's a joke! The moment they have this I'm gonna EMP that drone, take the food then call Uber and claim an eagle swooped in and took both.

That will last for about week until some buffoon gets killed in a sexy delivery drone mishap at which point the government will step in and ban everything.

They must be way higher than their drones back at HQ if they think this will fly.
