Hi there

This week I thought I should check my payment statement soon as the week closed and found a couple of refunds to riders. Luckily, I distinctly remembered both occasions and decided to pull uber about it. Just sent a quick question to why they were refunded when I was at the pick up location for more than 5 minutes.
Reply? Money was credited back in my account without a question as they could clearly see me being at the location.

Anyway, I know this has been discussed before but I just wanted to suggest that always check your payment statement on a computer (as it doesn't show the blue arrow details on mobile devices) and ALWAYS ask Uber to put the money back in your account.

Uber's policy is to refund the buyer as soon as they complain, which, frankly I do not have a problem with. But why taking money out from our accounts! They're more than welcome to do their charity from their own accounts with millions in it.

Rants over.

Best way is always check your statements.
Any blue arrow sign means something for that particular job.

I also have a funny feeling that uber shows more fare on our screen but on statement the fare are less.

After the new version of app where we need to rate the rider first and than we see the fare also bit dodgy. I think if we rate the passenger less than our fare goes down a bit and viseversa.

I could be wrong on that but I can expect anything from uber.

Agreed AL do this all the time by not paying drivers for jobs, waiting time etc make sure you have a writing pad & write down payment & price for each job u do because if they was nick 1 job on average of every driver every week in London,Worldwide think how much they would extra they earn BE CAREFUL.

THANK YOU! This is what I really wanted drivers to understand, I feel bad for anyone who is getting ripped off by Uber. We should find ways to rip them off!

Key is to always check your statement, even during the week on a computer and look for those blue arrow things, it'll tell you if there's something special about fare and like I said, if they refund people ALWAYS pull them up about it. 99.9% of the time you'll get your money back because the system would have paid you rightly in the first place as it is.
