Don't forget every time you accept a pool ride to service some cheap azz individual they'll be one less fare for someone else. You deserve to be screwed by uber IMO.

This ride was an UberPool and it had a 2.9x surge. If you do the calculations, it should have come up to close to $50

3.5 miles x $1.75 = 6.13

25 min x $0.35 = 8.75

Fare: $2.55 + $6.13 (distance) + $8.75 (time) = $17.43

Surge 2.9x = $17.43 (fare) x 1.9 (surge in decimal) = $33.11

Fare + Surge = $17.43 + $33.11 = $50.54

Uber fee/tax/bcfund (36%): $18.20

Payout: $32.34

Maybe they are testing out a non-subsidized pool where the driver only receives what the passenger actually paid. Fishy.

So did they adjust your fare and give you an explanation on what happened?

Multiple pickups on this trip?

I emailed them and they said it was an error and they are fixing the problem.

3 pickups and 3 drop off.

1st was 2.9x
2nd was 2.6x
3rd was 1.6x
Always an error, has anybody ever had an error where it hurt uber but was good for driver. Always seems the opposite.

I can never figure out how they split up the distance say when pax A is picked up first, then pax B, then B dropped off and finally A.

Everyday there's a fare error. I now have to do a through ride by ride review to make sure I got paid right.

I'll rock my + login as long as the incentives are going on. $5 extra for every pick up. Sure. Sounds humane enough.

Turn it on for an hour, cover my gas money for the day LoL.

Is everyone getting variation of incentives right now? Or just the ones who don't bother with +?
