I got a message from support saying a rider said i was intoxicated and I was being taken off line. I called support and I'm guessing this was a all points broadcast that went out to everyone as the entire system and all drivers were off line till the issue was fixed

So a passenger suggested to support I was perhaps impaired driving and I'm now off for who ever knows how long. Just like our justice system guilty till proven innocent. Passengers have total control over what we do. Whatever they say we did is fact. Funny never drank or did drugs

Maybe your driving is just really really bad?

I've heard some pax do that because they get a free ride. Ask for compensation from Uber once they reactivate your account

Sorry to hear about this. I’d love to know what exactly they do during the “investigation” while the driver is deactivated. I’ve heard on this forum that they refuse to watch dash cam footage when it’s offered. I assume they look at your ride history and see if you had a trip after the alleged incident and how they rated you. A 5 star rating right after the trip in question would most likely prove you weren’t impaired. Some scumbag wanted to get a free ride and got it. Hopefully you’re reactivated and compensated for lost income. Best of luck.
