Lyft now shows the destination and pay up front but it doesn’t have a set per-mile rate anymore. They pay horribly for long rides. Sometimes it pays well for short rides. Or you can use it as a destination filter by rejecting all the requests that aren’t going the direction you want to go.

Free advice- after you accept a Lyft ride, always turn off ride requests. If you don’t, they’ll match you with a ride no one else wants before you get to your drop off.

More free advice- sometimes after you accept a lyft ride they switch you to a different one while you’re on your way there (“Lyft pickup changed,” says the app voice.) When they do that, always pull over and cancel the trip. Don’t let them make you give a ride you didn’t agree to give.

Thanks for actually answering the question man. I appreciate it. I swear you have so many clowns saying “ look through the posts you’ll find your answer” in this forum. If you have the time to put that corn ball response than you have time to actually put some positive input into the conversation. Anyway thanks again and I guess I’ll sign up for Lyft to keep my options open. At least I can see where I’m going
