I notified Uber because I qualify for pay according to guideline of doctor required self isolation. Uber immediately deactivated my account. To reactivate need to go through Law Enforcement portal. Try find someone at LA County Health to do that!!! Uber said will not pay until law enforcement portal is filled out by a professional. As usual they make drivers life hell. I have all documentation from ER room but they don’t care.

Post your Uber deactivation or a screenshot of your self isolation from hospital. I don't believe you in the least.

So you're not worried that you had to get tested but upset that Uber doesn't pay you some pocket change??

Honestly not worried I got tested but felt it the right thing to do for peace of mind. I'm retired with pension. However, I am concerned for drivers that need that change to make April rent and Uber making it difficult. Me, I'm taking 3 months off until it settles down

No. A document stating you are instructed to go in self-quarantine from a certified Health official that isn't a 420 DR.

Or an email from Uber stating what you need to do while on quarantine to get assistance.
