Just wanted to know when there was no pax, and as a driver we could use uber map application instead of own GPS, Waze or other mobile gps's
Seriously, pro tip here: don't use Uber GPS. Uber app should be used only to accept, start and finish trips.

I have used all GPS and unfortunately uber stands last. I like google maps because it has building numbers and street names very clearly. But I like waze most because it's the most updated GPS, has live traffic conditions and warn me when there is a speed camera.

+1 for google maps with the building numbers, great to know if you are at the correct address, especially when google wants to make you go to the back alley instead of the front door/etc...
The problem is some people insist on dropping the pin in one place, and specify a totally different address. How are we supposed to know which location you really want to meet us at? I think waze could be useful for the alerts to cameras/speed limits/etc, but I'm not confident it will provide good directions, at least everyone (pax) knows google maps, and basically trusts it (or is happy to provide turn by turn instructions to replace it).

I'm pretty happy with Google Maps except for the time it took me into the cross city tunnel instead of the Pitt St address above it. Rider very unimpressed, 2 stars, and who can blame her. Rookie error, these days I confirm with the Pax where we are going.

When going to pick up a Pax, I let Google maps navigate me there but within a block I look at the Uber app to get the street address and picture of the building. That way avoid ending up in back alleys, which is the Google maps drawback when pax is in an apartment block or back of a house.
