The ride in Text is to the east coast the map is to SFO clearly a great deal for me. Yes I took it. The question 14 hours later did the pax notice the charge and did Uber notice they gave me a great deal on upfront pricing. Ps they did not tip.

btw, you are up in Sonoma county? How often do you get pings going to the city? And, do you take them? If so how does the DF treat you on the way home?

To late I cashed the check. Upfront prices were agreed on and performed and I was paid.
Not to be that guy, but you only showed us an offer, not a final drop off figure. Uber doesn’t allow cash outs above $2k a week.

I’m not saying I don’t believe you and I’ll be very happy if you did get paid $3400 for the ride, but I can’t help but wonder why we didn’t see screenshots of the final payment.

I see a text from Uber in your future... "This trip is subject to a fare adjustment."
And, I hope a text back to uber saying something like: "Any further communications in regards to this issue should be referred to my legal counsel at the law firm of Dontwe, Hosem and Howe, PC."
If you are an independent contractor, and you accept the job, and you DO THE JOB, you should be paid the agreed upon contractual price. It's a deal.
And I would argue that before a Small Claims Court judge ALL DAY LONG.

Isn't some rich guy trying to get out of a contract right now to buy some big company ... what is it ... Twitter?
Some mug entered into A CONTRACT to purchase something. The price and terms were set, and he signed. NOW he's thinking he didn't make such a good deal ... his lawyers are telling him 'tuff shit, you agreed to it.'
Remember what it takes to make a contract.
Offer, acceptance, consideration.
Failure to execute is called "Breach of Contract''.
